International Jazz Series - Tompi
Tompi is one of Indonesia's most promising R&B/Jazz vocalists. In 2005, he achieved star status in his native homeland of Indonesia after his hit song, "Something's Wrong" from the Bali Lounge project stayed at #1 on the MTV Asian Chart for three weeks running. In 2006, "T" his debut self titled album spawned the hit single "Selalu Denganmu". This was followed by the hit single, “Salahkah” in 2008 which saw him walking off with the prestigious AIM award for best R&B album. Tompi returns to Malaysia this month with his new album entitled “Paris Jakarta Express”, joined by fellow Indonesian band mates Deqi on keys, Echa on drums & Iilas on bass.
