A music enthusiast at heart with an aptitude for creative arts, Janice Yap has been involved in numerous stage performances ranging from singing, dancing to acting from a tender age of 4. Her experience in singing and song-writing has resulted in numerous original pieces of music, with styles ranging from Acoustic to R&B.

A gifted musician in her own right, Janice has shown the ability to intertwine the melodious rifts from her guitar & piano with meaningful self-penned lyrics, bagging several local music awards (“Best Original Song Composition” for Malaysia’s Annual Battle of the Bands 2005 & Malaysian Revival Songwriting Competition 2006 and “Best Solo Performance – Voice” for Malaysia’s 5th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Award 2006) along the way.

Besides music, Janice Yap is also active in the local television scene and is currently hosting a travel & adventure show on 8TV. With her increasing popularity and fan-base, Janice Yap indeed looks set to be one of the rising stars in the Malaysian music & television industry.

Come check Janice and her band out on the 21st & 22nd of September where they will showcase their signature brand of acoustic-flavored melodies. Combining original compositions with self-styled covers, each set will be an eclectic hodgepodge of genres and grooves – truly an aural feast with something for everyone.
